Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Inspector to join our team at Mercury Systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality of our products meets the high standards of the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection of products/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables
  • Enter inspection results into the manufacturing execution system
  • Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required
  • Perform first article inspections to support component/part qualification
  • Read and interpret specifications and part prints
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of PCBA inspection and IPC-A-610 certification or previous experience
  • Background in RF Microwave hybrid assembly (MIL-STD-883 or MIL-PRF required)
  • Experience with Cable Inspection, certification or previous to IPC-A-620 a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of plating and conversion coating specifications a plus
  • Knowledge of Aegis Factory Logix a plus
  • Experience working in aerospace/defense industry

This position requires access to information subject to U.S. export regulations. You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. government.
