Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team at Mercury Systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of electronic or mechanical assembly operations, including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical sub-systems integrating electronic components from work instructions and assembly drawings
  • Manipulate items using a variety of tools
  • Perform functional testing of sub-systems following manufacturing test procedures
  • Maintain logs and paperwork accurately
  • Operate and troubleshoot production line machinery and computers
  • Meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
  • Self-monitor workmanship
  • Understand and follow all safety requirements, as well as ISO practices and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in the electronics assembly field, including sub-system mechanical assemblies
  • ESD knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Mechanical assembly skills, including the ability to recognize non-conformities
  • Follow manufacturing test procedures, functionally testing product, including Hi-Pot testing
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
