The Client Relations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer support and service on a daily basis. This position is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The role involves frequent customer interactions and meticulous inventory oversight, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the Transportation and Contract Packaging documentation, processes, and compliance standards. A strong emphasis is placed on data accuracy, timely reporting, and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary customer service liaison, managing customer relations and scheduling effectively.
  • Oversee truck confirmations, load tendering, and load entry, while addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Engage in ongoing outreach to both current and prospective customers to enhance business growth.
  • Deliver superior service in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain responsive communication with customers and internal leadership through both verbal and written correspondence.
  • Ensure precise inventory management and data entry, promptly notifying supervisors of any discrepancies.
  • Generate Pick Tickets and Bills of Lading as directed by customers.
  • Conduct inventory pulls as necessary.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting, including ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in data control processes.
  • Organize and keep up-to-date files and documentation.
  • Understand and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively.
  • Proactively identify and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and report any concerns to management.
  • Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in all operational conditions.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, contract packaging, or customer service is required.
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
  • Prior customer contact experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and comprehend written information and documents.
  • Adherence to safety regulations, operational manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Attention to detail, particularly regarding data accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Professional demeanor with the capacity to manage challenging situations and devise effective solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications and related technologies.
  • Capacity to maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a high-volume setting with multiple priorities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
