The Customer Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a superior customer experience by addressing a variety of client needs, from service inquiries to sales opportunities, with enthusiasm and dedication. This position aims to provide clients with a comprehensive solution for their financial requirements, including account management and transaction processing. The focus is on fostering customer-centric dialogues to strengthen relationships and establish trust. Actively promote a diverse range of banking solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and assist them in achieving their financial objectives. The distribution of time spent on various responsibilities will fluctuate based on customer traffic and specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately assist clients with transaction processing in compliance with established policies and procedures. Initiate proactive sales and referral discussions through both internal and external communications, including outbound calls and effective engagement in the lobby. Enhance personal sales skills and utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other tools to facilitate relationship-building conversations with clients, ensuring a consistent approach to onboarding new customers and expanding existing relationships. Provide continuous support to clients regarding available products and services. Open new accounts, manage customer maintenance requests, assist with operational tasks, and maintain adaptability between sales and transaction processing. Mitigate risk by adhering to relevant regulations and company policies while exercising sound judgment within defined limits. Utilize practical knowledge of digital solutions and technology to assist clients and resolve issues.Required Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
A minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience is required. Experience in cash handling for 6 to 12 months is preferred.
Additional Responsibilities
This role may encompass other duties as assigned by management. All employees are responsible for understanding and adhering to all company compliance programs, regulations, and policies, ensuring that all compliance training is completed by established deadlines. This includes recognizing and reporting compliance risks that may affect their department.
Compensation Transparency
To enhance transparency for candidates, we disclose base salary ranges in all job postings. Salary ranges are determined based on the position, function, and responsibilities, benchmarked against similar companies in the industry. Compensation will be based on a combination of factors, including the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant credentials. Salary may vary by geographic location.
The hourly wage for this position is $24.18.
