Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Review and approve subcontractor quality plans to ensure they meet project standards
  • Lead the Quality Assurance Program in a construction environment, ensuring that all quality personnel are properly trained and equipped
  • Mentor junior QA/QC personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Collaborate with the project management team and client representatives to ensure that quality objectives are met
  • Perform causal analysis investigations and QA audits to identify and address quality issues
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the project
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) to ensure that all project documentation meets quality standards
  • Ensure timely completion of all quality documentation for project turnover
  • Communicate quality objectives and progress to stakeholders through regular meetings and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of quality experience in EPC or industrial construction
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex quality concepts to stakeholders
  • Certifications in quality management, such as CQI or ASQ, are highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
