Role Overview

As a Technical Trainer, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate continuous skill enhancement and development for the Network's workforce through comprehensive training programs and competency assessments aligned with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering and managing training sessions as per the established training schedule
  • Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Contributing to the completion of assigned work plans within agreed timelines
  • Providing mentorship to trainees through practical training and workplace learning experiences

Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing and/or Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead, or an unrestricted WA electrical license obtained in 2006 or later
  • A minimum of 7 years of extensive experience in the Electricity Supply Industry or a related field
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective engagement with stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet established deliverables within set timelines
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as necessary
  • Valid WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A', or the capacity to transfer an equivalent interstate license
