Energy Systems Engineer - Planning & Facilities Management

As a pivotal member of our organization, the Energy Systems Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal environmental conditions across various facilities. This position involves a comprehensive understanding of how improper pressurization, humidity levels, and temperature fluctuations can affect diverse spaces, including laboratories and educational environments.

The engineer will leverage their expertise in energy management and system engineering principles to enhance the functionality of mechanical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert technical support for the maintenance and operation of automation and data acquisition systems, ensuring precise temperature and humidity control throughout facilities.
  2. Analyze and monitor collected data for accuracy, offering insights and recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
  3. Conduct repairs, calibrations, modifications, and upgrades on electronic systems and instrumentation to maintain optimal performance of automation systems.
Work Environment:

This role is designated as On-Campus, with regular evaluations to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, including at least 2 years focused on computerized control systems.
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems, as well as networking principles.
  4. Proficient in computer applications with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $54,000 and $100,493.33, determined by various factors including qualifications, experience, and organizational needs.
