Key Responsibilities:

**Sales Leadership**:

* Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Monitor daily sales activities and provide guidance to ensure a high level of performance.
* Analyze sales metrics and develop strategies to improve overall sales performance.

**Customer Service**:

* Ensure all customers receive exceptional service by being knowledgeable, approachable, and patient.
* Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Provide product education and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
* Deescalate customer conflicts with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution while maintaining company standards.

**Team Management**:

* Assist in training new staff members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Deescalate employee conflicts and mediate disputes, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
* Enforce policies and procedures mandated by upper management, ensuring all team members are compliant with company standards.

**Operations**:

* Assist in maintaining store organization and cleanliness.
* Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
* Support inventory management, including restocking and conducting regular inventory audits.
* Drop cash registers at the end of shifts, ensuring all cash is counted accurately.
* Reconcile cash drawers, verifying that no funds are missing and all transactions are properly accounted for.
* Ensure merchandising is up to standard, maintaining an organized and aesthetically pleasing sales floor that aligns with Fireleaf's branding.
* Oversee the presentation of products, ensuring that displays are neat, fully stocked, and visually appealing.

**Requirements**:

* Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the cannabis industry or a similar retail environment.
* Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and other related items.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues with professionalism.
* Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic retail operations.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with all applicable state regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

* 1 to 2 years experience in the legal cannabis industry.
* Experience with inventory management and regulatory compliance.
* Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws.
* Bilingual abilities are a plus.
