Key Responsibilities

  • Be present on the floor for 3-4 service shifts per week.
  • Perform administrative duties including preparing daily reports, managing inventory, and placing orders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Owner/Operator, General Manager, Bar Manager, Chef, and Sous Chef to foster interdepartmental leadership.
  • Oversee a team of 7-10 staff members in a high-traffic, segmented environment, adapting to a flexible staffing model.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the hospitality sector, with at least 1 year in a management role, or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • A positive demeanor and a strong work ethic, emphasizing teamwork.
  • Proficient knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.
  • Experience in human resources and private event management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation Structure

The Floor Manager position offers an hourly base pay starting at $25, complemented by a per-shift bonus linked to sales performance. Expected total hourly earnings can range from $30 to $45, and potentially higher based on sales outcomes.
