Faun is in search of a dedicated Floor Manager to enhance our service excellence. In this role, you will empower our team to deliver exceptional and knowledgeable service to our guests. The ideal candidate embodies a supportive, empathetic, and growth-focused leadership style, leading by example. The Floor Manager will be actively engaged on the floor for several services each week and will also undertake essential administrative responsibilities, including generating daily reports, managing inventory, and placing orders. This position offers a pathway for advancement into private event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership and support to a team of 7-10 staff members in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Conduct regular inventory assessments and manage supply orders efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the Owner/Operator, General Manager, Bar Manager, Chef, and Sous Chef to foster a cohesive working environment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the hospitality sector, with at least 1 year in a managerial role, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- A positive demeanor and a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Proficient knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.
- Experience in human resources and private events is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation Structure
The Floor Manager will receive an hourly base rate starting at $25, complemented by a per-shift bonus based on sales performance. The anticipated hourly earnings can range from $30 to $45, and may exceed this range depending on sales outcomes.
