Key Responsibilities

  • Be present on the floor for 3-4 service shifts each week, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities, including the preparation of daily reports, inventory management, and supply ordering.
  • Collaborate closely with the Owner/Operator, General Manager, Bar Manager, Chef, and Sous Chef to foster interdepartmental leadership.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of 7-10 staff members in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the hospitality sector, including at least 1 year in a managerial capacity, or 5 years of overall experience in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • A positive demeanor and a strong work ethic, emphasizing teamwork.
  • Proficient knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.
  • Experience in human resources and event coordination is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation Structure

The Floor Manager position offers an hourly base pay starting at $25, complemented by a per-shift bonus linked to sales performance. The anticipated total hourly earnings can range from $30 to $45, and may exceed this based on sales outcomes.
