Job Description

We are seeking a full-time humanities teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching middle school and high school history, as well as collaborating with our Learning Specialist and School Counselor to implement student accommodations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a culture of respect, challenge, and support
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through regular updates and progress reports
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices
  • Collaborate with the Learning Specialist and School Counselor to develop and implement student Learning Profiles
Requirements
  • Commitment to differentiated and project-based learning
  • Understanding of various learning styles and ability to apply them in the classroom
  • Experience working with gifted or twice-exceptional students
  • Bachelor's degree required
What We Offer

FlexSchool offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
