Job Overview

FlexSchool is a private educational institution that specializes in providing a supportive and challenging learning environment for gifted and twice-exceptional students. We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Educator to join our team as a Middle School and High School History Teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Collaborate with the Learning Specialist and School Counselor to understand and implement individualized learning plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and students
  • Participate in regular faculty meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the growth of the institution
  • Prepare necessary documentation for student assessments and evaluations
  • Report significant student concerns to the Head of School and collaborate on action plans when necessary
Requirements
  • Commitment to differentiated and project-based learning
  • Understanding of various learning styles and ability to apply them in the classroom
  • Experience working with students who are gifted or have learning differences
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
