About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Educator to join our team at FlexSchool. As a Middle School and High School History Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach comprehensive curriculum in mathematics and history, tailored to meet the needs of gifted and twice-exceptional students
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement project-based learning initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, history, or a related field
  • Experience teaching mathematics and history to middle school and high school students
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and project-based learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
