About the Job

ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Associate to join our team at the McKenzie Ridge SRTF program in Junction City, Oregon.

The Residential Associate will be part of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness, supporting their development of life skills and therapeutic interventions.

This role involves performing housekeeping, preparing meals, administering medication, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

If you have experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client with behavioral health needs, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

Vocational Training Program

We offer a Vocational Training Program for applicants starting as a QMHA-R, providing on-the-job experiential learning and testing preparation to achieve certification as a QMHA-I within 6 months.

This program is optional and designed to accelerate training and career advancement.

Work Schedule and Salary

The part-time work schedule includes Sunday and Monday 3:00pm - 11:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

The hourly wage ranges from $20.00 to $22.00, with an additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential applied during specific hours.

An extra 5% language differential is offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates, particularly those proficient in Spanish and English.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field
  2. Minimum three years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting
  3. Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training

If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.
