About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Convention Sales Manager to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for our convention center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Work closely with our Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and maximize revenue.
  • Sales and Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing plans to promote our convention center and attract new business.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in the coordination of events, including proposals, presentations, negotiations, and closing of sales.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our sales and marketing team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as hospitality, marketing, or business.
