Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Program Supervisor will provide both clinical and administrative oversight to a vibrant team of professionals and support staff delivering therapeutic services to individuals with psychiatric challenges. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective operation of the program while adhering to all relevant organizational policies and regulatory standards.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of five years in a supervisory capacity within a mental health environment is required. Familiarity with the needs of the MICA/SMI demographic is essential, along with experience in clinical service delivery and knowledge of community mental health resources.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the Director in overseeing all administrative, financial, and programmatic functions to align with organizational goals and compliance with governing regulations, including but not limited to:
    • Manage the intake process for all clients to ensure timely and effective service delivery;
    • Supervise management and program staff to enhance clinical understanding of client needs;
    • Design and implement client-focused programs;
    • Oversee the utilization review process to maintain the appropriateness of residential services;
    • Lead quality assurance initiatives and incident reporting procedures;
    • Ensure meticulous records management to support service documentation;
    • Administer fee structures and oversee collection processes;
    • Direct program operations in line with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints;
    • Compile and prepare comprehensive reports for both internal and external stakeholders covering various operational metrics.
  2. Supervise all Program Managers to guarantee the delivery of essential residential services.
  3. Engage in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of staff under the Director's guidance.
  4. Provide structured weekly supervision to assigned Program Managers, ensuring comprehensive training and support for all staff.
  5. Collaborate with the Director in developing and implementing program policies and procedures.
  6. Conduct regular audits of client records to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  7. Offer guidance and support to staff during crisis situations, available on a 24-hour on-call basis.
  8. Ensure timely reporting of incidents in accordance with relevant regulations.
  9. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to meet or exceed established standards.
  10. Assist the Director in representing the organization at relevant meetings and events.
  11. Support the Director in pursuing funding opportunities and program expansion initiatives.
  12. Identify and promote quality improvement training and activities as part of professional development.
  13. Foster a culture of inclusivity that values diverse perspectives and experiences.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.
  15. Demonstrate proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and manage remote teams as necessary.
  16. Exhibit adaptability to evolving circumstances and environments.
  17. Show resilience in overcoming challenges.
  18. Possess digital skills necessary for navigating online platforms and technologies.
  19. Maintain awareness of health and safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
  20. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, task prioritization, and problem-solving.
  21. Perform additional duties as assigned.
