Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Director to lead our end-to-end project management process and drive the successful execution of all growth and margin improvement initiatives. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing all project execution, including diverse enterprise projects, and ensuring the overall company project governance process is in place.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the stage gate process, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met in accordance with each project.
- Develop and maintain new launch timelines, ensuring project milestones are met, and risks are appropriately managed.
- Initiate and lead cross-company initiatives, including product maintenance, customer acquisition, and margin improvement projects.
- Seek areas of opportunity for process development and improvement across the cross-functional team, implementing tools and training to ensure proper rollout.
- Lead PMO tool selection, management, templates, and meeting agendas to ensure each project is clearly communicated, timelines are tracked, and risks are clearly visible and communicated.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience managing complex projects with multiple inter-dependencies.
- Previous experience leading a team of project managers.
- Previous experience working for a beauty brand and/or cosmetics category.
- Previous experience working within a PMO or as a business project lead.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated skill working with cross-functional project teams with overlapping dependencies.
- Prior experience managing and escalating risk for actionable results.
- Highly organized and results-driven, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external partners.
- Must enjoy working in a fluid and fast-paced environment and be a master of multi-tasking.
- PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with a project management tool (MS Project) or a collaboration tool (Microsoft Teams).
- Willingness to take the initiative to resolve adversarial relationships, both internally and externally.
- Ability to present clear, timely, and actionable status updates to leadership teams.
