Senior Director of Quality and Outcomes

Project 180 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Quality and Outcomes to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and leading a team that harnesses the power of data to advance program outcomes and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Program leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs), set ambitious goals, and collect measurable data.
- Monitor KPI progress, synthesize for the Executive Team, and partner with the Sr Director of Programs to set priorities accordingly.
- Oversee program support projects led by the Quality & Outcomes team, ensuring appropriate project prioritization and collaboration.
- Support the Sr Director of Programs in holding program managers and their teams accountable for client outcomes, leveraging data and goal-setting expertise.
- Ensure Project 180 programs use evidence-based treatment methods aligned with current clinical best practices.
- Build a quality assurance plan that outlines standards and expectations for compliance with contract requirements.
- Develop quality assurance reporting, monitoring, and accountability systems, and train Program leaders to implement them with their teams.
- Ensure timely submission and processing of claims and invoices for DMH and other City and County agency contracts, in compliance with requirements.
- Prepare for and respond to external program audits, in partnership with Program leadership.
- Collaborate with City and County agencies and represent Project 180 in meetings or events.
- Co-design Project 180's new client management database with the Sr Director of Operations.
- Oversee database rollout and ongoing staff training.
- Design and disseminate clear, accurate reports showing contract, data quality, and KPI progress to goals.
- Ensure strong data quality and use of Project 180's client management system.
- Develop team strategy, structure, and roles in alignment with Project 180's mission and strategy.
- Hire, manage, and coach team members towards strong performance and team culture.
Fulfill baseline Project 180 staff expectations, including regular attendance, maintaining and upholding Agency mission statement, values, policies, procedures, and principles, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements include a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a health-related field, business management, or similar field, 6-8 years of work experience in relevant functional areas, 2+ years of management experience, familiarity with data analytics tools and principles, and verification of employment eligibility and background check.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the Los Angeles forensic mental health system, nonprofit work experience, contract and billing expertise, clinical credibility and judgment, and supervisory responsibilities for a team of approximately 6-8 functional experts.
The Sr Director will be based in the Project 180 DTLA office and will be expected to move about the office, drive, carry a maximum of 20 lbs, listen, and speak in order to complete job requirements.
Compensation includes a pay range of $130,000-$160,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.
