About the Role:
The successful candidate will join our team as an Autism Support and Development Professional, working directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to provide individualized care and support. This role requires a strong ability to work effectively with individuals who may have challenging behaviors and to implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Document individual progress and communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:
- Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques
- Ability to follow medication administration protocols and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Physical ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activities(mileage reimbursement)
- First aid and CPR certification is mandatory
