About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a key member of the therapeutic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for working with children on the autism spectrum and have a desire to learn the developmental model through training, observation, and reflection.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations for each child, consulting with the Senior SLP Clinician as needed.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to create treatment plans, identifying specific speech and language-related goals.
- Provide direct speech and language services to autistic children, utilizing the developmental approach to strengthen developmental foundations.
- Monitor progress, record session notes, and communicate with other team members and parents.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision, providing support to new SLPs as they join the team.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A New Jersey state license and CCC-SLP certification are required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- A flexible schedule and ability to work seamlessly on a trans-disciplinary team.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and location. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including paid sick leave and a referral program.
