Accounts Payable Manager

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the entire accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role will be responsible for managing the AP team, developing and implementing processes and procedures, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts payable function, including supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and disbursements.
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversee the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Review and approve weekly check runs and manual check batches.
  • Prepare monthly reporting on DPO and AP Balance.
  • Review statements from vendors and follow up as needed.
  • Liaise with accounting on cross-functional processes.
  • Review and approve new vendors and vendor changes.
  • Review aged open POs with the field.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve escalations.
  • Hold quarterly best practices meetings with the field and corporate team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in accounting and AP, with advancing roles.
  • Working knowledge of AP systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • BA in Accounting or Business required.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of MAS 500 preferred.
