Regional Sales Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to lead our team of Account Managers in servicing the world's largest food companies. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, environmentally conscious, publicly traded company and make a significant impact in the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Account Managers to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Contract development and negotiation with key accounts
  • Coordinate communication between Silgan Executive Management and Legal Counsel with the customer to finalize contract language
  • Identify business development opportunities and draft comprehensive recommendations and proposals
  • Development of periodic reports, including general market analysis, competitor pricing, and capabilities within the region
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or packaging
  • 10 or more years of progressive sales experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food and beverage
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50 percent
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to see the big picture
