Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Mrs. Teapot's Tiny Tots. As a Mixed Age Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging play spaces, developing curriculum, and promoting learning through play-based activities.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, paid holidays, and three one-week vacations after a 90-day probationary period. You will have the opportunity to work with children from 6 weeks to kindergarten age, supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging play spaces that promote learning and exploration
  • Develop curriculum that aligns with state standards and promotes child-centered education
  • Care for and supervise children aged 6 weeks to 5 years
  • Communicate regularly with families to share learning progress and address concerns
Requirements
  • Enrollment in the Oregon Early Learning Division Background Check Registry
  • Health and Safety online certification
  • Food Handler's Card online certification
  • Infant/Toddler CPR and First Aid certification
  • Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect online certification
  • Oregon Safe Sleep online certification
  • PREFERRED: 2+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education
