Job Overview

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator II to join our team. As a key member of our JRSS team, you will be responsible for overseeing an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer ACAS products, including Security Center, Nessus Scanner, and Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS)
  • Install, configure, and deploy new scanners, scan groups, and repositories using Security Center
  • Conduct network-based and standalone ACAS scans to scan standalone systems
  • Configure and generate customized scan reports and provide scan data to Cybersecurity personnel
  • Ensure scheduled scans cover 100% of intended assets and run successfully while meeting a 98% credentialed access rate for all devices included in the Network Address Declaration (NAD)
  • Document steps required to design the ACAS solution for each network, including IP address, Fully Qualified Domain Name, and physical location of each component
  • Perform vulnerability scans, including analysis of results, identification of false positives, exceptions, and subsequent POA&Ms and/or MFRs creation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Support scanning and operations, including test/scanning environment, licensing, and target asset refreshes, and credentials
  • Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC) in writing within 4 hours for all accountable item moves
  • Bundling and concealing excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation and repair

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as an ACAS Administrator on a military production network
  • Knowledge of ACAS products, including Security Center, Nessus Scanner, and PVS
  • Ability to install, configure, and deploy new scanners, scan groups, and repositories using Security Center
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT - II certification
  • ACAS Operator and Supervisor Course or Teenable.sc Specialist Certification
