Job Title: Portfolio Analytics and Reporting

A private equity investment manager is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Portfolio Analytics and Reporting specialist. This role will be responsible for providing expert analysis and insights on fund and portfolio performance, working closely with the Portfolio Management team to deliver timely and accurate information to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and monitor the performance of private equity and credit funds, providing regular updates and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze fund performance and risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize fund performance.
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to present complex data in an easily understandable format.
  • Work with the technology team to develop and maintain KPI dashboards and other reporting tools.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the private equity or investment management industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
  • Experience with asset pricing models, econometric models, and time-series analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments, including private equity and credit funds.
