Residential Care Assistant

We are seeking a Mentor and Support Worker to join our team at Youngblood Youth Development Homes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young males aged 10-16, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.
Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with residents, helping them develop essential life skills, build self-esteem, and overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and guidance to residents
- Develop and implement personalized plans to promote resident growth and development
- Facilitate educational and recreational activities to enhance resident engagement and participation
- Maintain accurate records of resident progress and incidents
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have experience working with youth, preferably in a residential care setting
- Be trained in de-escalation techniques
- Pass a background check
The estimated salary for this role is $48,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
