We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Care Professional to join our residential program at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program. As a Mental Health Technician I, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment experience, providing day-to-day support and positive coping skills guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Orient new patients to the treatment program and its requirements, ensuring a smooth transition into our care.
  • Determine special needs and communicate them to the treatment team, promoting personalized care.
  • Monitor patients throughout the treatment process, maintaining their safety and well-being.
  • Facilitate treatment plans by leading therapeutic groups and activities, promoting structure and engagement.
  • Document patient behaviors and maintain confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree or one year of experience working with mental health or adolescents is preferred.
  • CPI and CPR/First Aid certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing is also required.

This part-time position requires availability on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering a competitive salary range of $17-$21 per hour, dependent on geographic region, education, and experience.
