We are seeking a highly skilled Field IT Specialist to join our team at Lan Pros Communication, Inc. in the Bay Area-San Francisco.

This is a full-time position that requires driving and working at various client sites in the greater Bay Area for ongoing projects.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, setup, support, maintain, troubleshoot, update, and repair of Servers, IT networks, computer hardware, and software, printers, wireless networks, anti-virus programs, routers/switches, etc., at client sites.
  • Follow up with customers to keep them informed of the status/progress of their issues/projects.
  • Support voice and data communication equipment, along with the associated wiring.
  • Create IT documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Good interpersonal and communications skills, customer relationships; ability to work independently; work efficiently under pressure; demonstrates team spirit.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in a system-down situation, responding quickly to end user technical issues.
  • Must be willing to learn new skills with the ability to follow written procedures and guidelines.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.

Required Experience:

  • 4 years of working and managing networks, and 2 years of experience in MSP (Managed Service Provider).
  • Advanced troubleshooting techniques; quick adaptation to new technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of PC, servers 2022, 2016, 2012, network, Windows11, Windows 10, and Windows Server Domain controller.
