Mechanical Engineer

Xact Metal, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of metal additive manufacturing systems, and we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will design and develop new printers and associated components, applying engineering principles and procedures to ensure the production of world-class 3D printing systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and evaluating mechanical, electromechanical, and opto-mechanical products and systems
- Developing manufacturing processes and testing specifications and methods
- Collaborating with customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions
- Ensuring system and product quality through testing and validation
- Preparing product reports and providing engineering information to stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in product development, including hands-on prototyping and mechatronics system integration. Strong computer skills, including CAD and CAE/FEA tools, are also essential.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
