Program Assistant Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our team at the American Academy of Pediatrics - Arizona Chapter. As a Program Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our program team, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the program team, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Assist with program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate logistics for training and education courses, conferences, and seminars.
  • Communicate with healthcare and law enforcement organizations to obtain records.
  • Assist with grant compliance, including generating data and information for grantor reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in education, business, communications, or health-related field.
  • Previous membership association/organization experience is strongly encouraged.
  • Medical and/or pediatric health knowledge a plus, but not required.
