Job Title: Chief Talent Officer

Grand Street Settlement is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Talent Officer to lead our human resources strategies and operations. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with our organization's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that support the organization's mission and goals
  • Lead the HR team in providing exceptional service to employees and management
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR and talent management functions and assess the organization's success and market competitiveness
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal programs
  • Oversee benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Ensure compliance with employment benefits, insurance, safety, 401K, EEOC, and other labor laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of human resource management experience
  • HR certification preferred
  • Strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience preferred
  • Knowledge of proven and emerging techniques in all aspects of personnel management
  • Strong communication, supervisory, leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
