Biomedical Equipment Specialist

As a Biomedical Technician at NPAworldwide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of medical equipment. Your responsibilities will include installing new equipment, approving potential biomedical equipment, and maintaining supplies inventory. You will also be responsible for directing the operation of biomedical equipment, keeping it in working order, and preparing reports by analyzing trends and information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate new medical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Approve potential biomedical equipment to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
- Maintain supplies inventory by forecasting needs, counting stock, and placing orders.
- Direct the operation of biomedical equipment by providing demonstrations, supplying information, and instructing others.
- Keep biomedical equipment in working order by performing tests, following preventive maintenance guides, and repairing and troubleshooting breakdowns.
- Prepare reports by analyzing trends and information.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in biomedical engineering or technology.
- Electronic repair background.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and create a safe environment.
- Equipment calibration and repair skills.
- Training management and conceptual skills.
