At The Hops Spot, we're currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in the hospitality industry.
Job SummaryWe're looking for a highly organized and meticulous individual to manage the cleanliness of our kitchen. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of clean dishes, pots, pans, and flatware for our chefs and kitchen staff. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, as well as ensuring that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
Preparing for Next ShiftAhead of each shift, you will be responsible for preparing the kitchen for the next team by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations. This includes ensuring that all equipment is clean and ready to use.
Maintaining Kitchen EquipmentYou will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all kitchen equipment, including coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, and other appliances.
Floor CareA key part of your role will be to ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are clean and free from clutter. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, as well as taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
Supporting Team MembersWe're a close-knit team at The Hops Spot, and we rely on each other to get the job done. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for supporting other team members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
Reporting Accidents and IncidentsFinally, we're looking for someone who takes health and safety seriously. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for reporting any kitchen accidents or incidents to management, and for adhering to all food safety codes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Cleanliness and Attention to Detail
A strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene are essential for this role. You will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, and flatware are clean and sanitized, as well as maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
Time Management and OrganizationWe're a fast-paced kitchen environment, and we need someone who can manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Teamwork and CommunicationWe're a team-driven restaurant, and we rely on each other to get the job done. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for supporting other team members and communicating effectively with your colleagues.
