Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Alliance Sales Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships with top consulting firms in North America.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GSI partner business models and enterprise technology sales cycles, with a proven track record of influencing senior-level partner executives and driving joint strategy.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing a partner business strategy, building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, and driving business development, marketing, and account collaborations to achieve pipeline and revenue growth targets.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, and have a data-driven approach to sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a partner business strategy to drive growth through strategic partnerships
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the partner organization
  • Drive business development, marketing, and account collaborations to achieve pipeline and revenue growth targets
  • Develop and update the GSI strategy and partner business plan for North America to ensure the partnership is on track to hit goals for pipeline and bookings targets
  • Establish cadence for and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with GSI partners

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a hi-tech environment, with a minimum of 3+ years in indirect sales with proven experience in partner management with system integrators
  • Fluent in GSI partner business and operating models, as well as enterprise technology sales cycles, processes, and best practices
  • Strong and effective communication, written, oral, and public presentation skills
  • Ability to work, collaborate, and drive outcomes individually and in a cross-functional environment
  • Data-driven approach to sales and marketing, with experience in Salesforce and Tableau
