HHS Construction, LLC., a Congruex Company, is seeking an Operator to enhance our wireless engineering and construction division. Congruex specializes in designing and constructing broadband and wireless communication infrastructures that are essential for modern society, impacting various sectors such as healthcare, energy, and transportation.

Role Overview:
The Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery in various construction and excavation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload equipment from transport vehicles.
  • Maintain and care for directional drilling and locating equipment, ensuring proper documentation for each task.
  • Safely drive, set up, and dismantle machinery.
  • Configure and install underground utilities while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job specifics.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of equipment.
  • Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Work additional hours or weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience with locating underground utilities.
  • Proficient in operating drilling equipment near active utilities.
  • Familiarity with locate systems.
  • Ability to operate various heavy machinery, including asphalt rollers and excavators.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL with tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Experience with Ditch Witch and Vermeer equipment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and ANSI standards.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to maintain visual and audible contact with team members and equipment.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Must wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
