Your analytical capabilities and insight into market dynamics will be vital in developing precise forecasts and optimizing operational workflows.
Core Responsibilities:
Demand and Supply Coordination:
· Oversee and update the Buys report.
· Execute comprehensive Buys for all departments and prepare container breakdowns.
· Scrutinize and refine buy requests before forwarding them for action.
· Analyze future inventory levels and assess purchasing precision.
· Manage monthly forecasting and procurement planning.
· Create detailed container breakdowns.
Production Oversight and Shipping Coordination:
· Update individual Factory Work In Progress (WIP) and prompt Vendors for updates.
· Handle Third Party Logistics (TPLs) and invoices.
· Monitor Factory WIPs.
· Set priorities for vendors.
· Review and adjust Expected Finish Dates as necessary.
· Investigate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) by SKU as requested.
· Revise Purchase Orders based on WIP.
Purchase Order and Invoice Oversight:
· Distribute container breakdowns to the team for comprehensive CSV upload preparation.
· Manage and upload CSV files for relevant Purchase Orders.
· Generate specific Purchase Orders, including reorders, samples, and pilot runs.
· Review various invoices including those for direct containers, villa items, rugs, and sample products.
Supplier Relationship Management:
· Gather regular updates from suppliers regarding order status, shipping, and potential challenges.
· Evaluate Supplier Performance by comparing average capacity with containers ordered.
· Review production in India and Southeast Asia with the High Sierra Team.
· Assess production in China with the Quality Control team.
· Collaborate on Pilot Runs and Samples with the Quality Assurance Team.
Internal Reporting and Team Coordination:
· Provide statistics and updates about inventory items to the team and sales representatives.
· Prepare and disseminate reports as required.
· Conduct cross-training sessions with team members.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
· 1-2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or a comparable role is preferred.
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems.

· Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
· Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities.
