Job Title: Area Manager, Food and Beverage

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager, Food and Beverage to join our team at Knott's Berry Farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for all food and beverage procurement needs, warehouse management, and inventory control within the Food and Beverage division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and procurement of food and beverages, including negotiation with suppliers and management of budgets.
  • Warehouse management, including receiving, distribution, and storage processes.
  • Inventory control, including forecasting, ordering, and managing inventory levels.
  • Financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Leadership and management of staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and HR.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and EEO policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • At least 6-8 years of prior, relevant work experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of prior supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, Food Trak, and Maintenance Connection software.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass random drug testing and background check.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, good written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and purchasing related software.
