Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our International Government Heads of State team in Oklahoma City, OK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving daily execution, coordination, and communications with all required functions through early program bidding through final delivery and ongoing support to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Responsible for overall team performance, including partnering with functions to develop metrics, operating rhythm, and deliverables management in support of new business and on-contract activity.
  • Lead studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments, and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine the business case.
  • Develop and establish lead time requirements.
  • Facilitate and ensure integration of project/program plan, schedules, change, and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry.
  • Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion and establish/maintain all program base lines.
  • Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.
  • Interface with customer stakeholders to develop requirements, strategy, and maintain positive customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • 5+ years' experience in program or project management.
  • 5+ years' experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Experience with international and US-based customers.
  • Experience with foreign military sale and direct commercial sales.
  • Experience in development programs.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining program base lines (cost, schedule, requirements, etc).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in managing US Government Projects.
  • Experience with military aircraft sustainment and post-production modifications.
  • Strong execution, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with strong time management skills to effectively work to and meet deadlines.

Relocation and Travel

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Position may require travel up to 20% of the time.
