Job Description:Arcadis is seeking an experienced Principal Environmental Permitting Project Manager to join our Energy Transition team to support and grow our expanding business in the Texas/Gulf Coast region across a range of sectors, including linear utilities, oil and gas, rail and transit, and renewable energies.
The successful candidate will be engaged in both client development, through the management and growth of new and existing client relationships, and in project delivery. The position will require a candidate to work collaboratively with a diverse team and have the capacity to balance varying priorities.
Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate can expect to work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of project and client teams. Periodic travel will be required (10-15%).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical specialists to successfully execute environmental permitting projects for oil and gas, linear utilities, renewable energy, and rail clients.
- Develop permitting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide senior level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications.
- Support and/or manage the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or similar environmental discipline.
- 10+ years of experience managing environmental permitting projects in Texas and the Gulf Region in the environmental consulting industry.
- Experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high quality documents for environmental projects.
- Proven project manager who is schedule-driven, with experience estimating and managing costs and delivery of environmental planning projects.
- Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Section 404, Section 10, and Section 408), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies in the preparation of environmental documents and reports.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $124,700 - $187,050. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
