Job Title: Compliance Manager - Environmental Regulations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager - Environmental Regulations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance, with experience in managing environmental compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental compliance programs based on project permits, plans, and documents.
  • Create and monitor environmental reporting calendars.
  • Combine project documentation to ensure compliance tracker contains all obligations, actions, and demonstrations of compliance.
  • Complete the compliance binder (summary of permits).
  • Establish a tracking method to demonstrate compliance with project permits, plans, and documents.
  • Identify key personnel to contribute to compliance and develop communication/training plan.
  • Draft monthly construction status report.
  • Develop environmental incident reporting.
  • Support permitting efforts as needed.
  • Responsible for multi-media environmental compliance support.

Requirements:

  • Well-versed in NEPA and environmental regulations.
  • Strong understanding of FERC and FERC processes.
  • Familiarity with USACE, USFWS, NOAA, MMPA, TCEQ, and Texas GLO.
  • Prior construction project experience.
  • Ability to understand owner-side obligations and communicate with Contractors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • 4+ years of environmental inspection, monitoring, or permitting experience specific to linear and/or other energy infrastructure projects.
