Environmental Compliance Specialist

At BGE, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Environmental Compliance to join our Environmental Services Department. This role will be responsible for leading environmental compliance preparation for Air, Water, and Waste for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation of air permit applications, including permitting strategy, project description, BACT, and regulatory analyses.
- Review environmental reports, permits, applications, and related materials to provide regulatory compliance guidance and strategies to clients.
- Communicate scientific and technical information to project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies through written reports and presentations.
- Assist clients with agency coordination and permit acquisition and compliance.
- Develop scope of work and cost estimates for client air quality permitting and compliance projects.
- Manage the quality, scope, timeliness, and financial aspects of projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related science field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, focused on air quality permitting and compliance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of EPA/TCEQ regulations and practices.
- Experience with PBRs, Title V, PSD, and nonattainment permitting.
- Experience with emissions calculations.
