Job Summary

The IT Hardware Deployment Specialist will be responsible for managing the packing and shipping of hardware to employees, receiving returned equipment, and updating our inventory tracking systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package hardware for shipment to employees.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track and document shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Receive and inspect returned hardware from employees.
  • Document the condition of returned equipment and update inventory records.
  • Coordinate with the IT team for any necessary repairs or refurbishments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all hardware assets.
  • Update inventory tracking systems with new shipments and returns.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in forecasting hardware needs and managing stock levels.
  • Provide basic technical support for hardware-related issues.
  • Assist employees with hardware setup and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
  • A passion for technology.
  • 1+ Years experience providing technical support.
  • Experience with a ticketing system such as ZenDesk or ServiceNow.
  • An understanding of Active Directory and M365.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tech and advance your career.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering quality service and support.
  • A sense of humor wouldn't hurt.
