Job Summary: The Human Resource Generalist is a key member of our HR team, responsible for supporting various functions within the department, including talent acquisition, orientation and onboarding, learning and development programs, and policy interpretation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring process for qualified applicants for open positions.
  • The selected candidate will conduct thorough pre-employment screenings for applicants and implement new hire orientation and onboarding plans.
  • Key responsibilities also include developing and implementing employee recognition programs, responding to employment-related inquiries, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • In addition, the HR Generalist will maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of human resources experience.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal customer service skills, including effective listening, clear verbal and written communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to master multiple software systems.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HCM system are also necessary.

Preferred Requirements:

  • HR certification from HRCI or SHRM is desirable, as is previous multi-site healthcare experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally via telephone is crucial.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and using a computer terminal to read and write are expected, as well as frequent bending, reaching, sitting, repetitive hand movements, and lifting up to 10lbs.
  • Must be able to drive to locations when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
