Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of managing a Plumbing and HVAC Service Department, including:

  • Overseeing Field Technicians: Providing insight and guidance when dealing with specific technical issues.
  • Ensuring Service Delivery: Monitoring projects to ensure they are completed promptly and to a high standard.
  • Inspecting Work: Visiting job sites to inspect work and ensure it meets local and state building codes.
  • Training Staff: Being involved in the training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Speaking with customers to assist with quotes, proposals, and concerns/complaints.
  • Supplier Management: Working with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they provide the company with the best possible service and pricing.
  • Financial Management: Helping with preparing invoices for customers and managing the financial aspects of the department.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Some experience in management and estimating is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the US.
