Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join our team at Performance Optimal Health. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, providing a clear picture of our financial health.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances for informed decision-making.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and monitor internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and evaluate performance.
  • Audit Coordination: Act as the liaison with external auditors, facilitating a smooth audit process and ensuring timely completion.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow and optimize working capital to mitigate liquidity risks.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and optimize tax planning strategies in coordination with external advisors.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Certifications: CPA certification preferred, with additional credentials like an MBA or CFA desirable.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including supervisory roles. Ideally with consumer or business services industry experiences.
  • Skills: Proficiency in GAAP, Financial ERP or similar tools and financial analysis tools/software, including excellent advanced excel skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
