Position Overview

The Summer Analyst program spans ten weeks, immersing participants in the vibrant culture and operational atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To qualify for consideration, candidates must be undergraduates currently in their junior year and in good academic standing.

Analysts should possess a keen interest in the financial services sector and demonstrate a desire to learn and make a meaningful impact.


Responsibilities

Rockefeller Capital Management seeks a motivated and insightful Summer Analyst to assist the Business Supervision and Controls team.

This role will immerse candidates in a culture emphasizing service, integrity, design excellence, and teamwork within a fast-paced, growing ultra-high net worth dually registered Broker-Dealer and Investment Advisor.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing analytical support to Business Supervision and Controls as needed, including detailed analysis of client and trade-related data across Broker-Dealer and RIA products.
  • Assisting in the identification of trends and metrics related to the analytical work supporting the business supervisory process.
  • Supporting the Supervisory governance process by aiding in the management of agendas, presentations, projects, and follow-up tasks.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from the Business Supervision and Controls team and other departments.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Operations, Economics, or Business is preferred.
  • Prior internship experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management is advantageous.

Skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and reassessing priorities as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $35/hour. Compensation will vary based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
