Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy SME Systems Engineer to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As a Policy SME Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to national security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance with applicable national security laws, executive orders, policies, and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain policy expertise related to restricted SIGINT data handling, including foreign ground station rules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define policy rules and translate policies into actionable guidelines.
  • Support the analysis of alternatives around tool selection and engage in up-front systems engineering activities.
  • Participate in Agile rhythms, including Agile planning, demonstrations, and acceptance of completed development and test activities.
  • Define data elements needed from external systems and develop test approaches to validate system behavior in line with policy expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience with various levels of testing, including requirements verification, feature testing, and unit testing.
  • Experience with interface definition and documentation, CONOPS development, and Agile scrum team collaboration.
  • Experience with automated testing, DevSecOps, and Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant domain and a Master's Degree in a technical field or 7+ years of systems engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise with the Compliance and Data Protection Plan (C&DPP) process and related training.
Security Clearance Requirements
  • An active and current TS/SCI w/ poly clearance is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
