Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance Lead to join our team at Powerhouse Institute, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring IT programs and projects, managing alignment with technical layers, and providing guidance to Applications Engineering teams and program area technical SMEs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage IT programs and projects to ensure alignment with technical layers.
  • Provide guidance to Applications Engineering teams and program area technical SMEs.
  • Participate in Technical Review Subcommittee (TRS) and Configuration Control Management Board (CCMB) meetings.
  • Provide governance and compliance advice and technical assistance to client Architecture and Technical Standards.
  • Lead Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including annual operational assessments, project/program gate and artifact reviews, technical risk assessments, and lessons learned and knowledge management.
  • Coordinate architecture, strategic assessment, and project activities adhering to the IT Governance Boards.
  • Develop SOPs, desk guides, and other required working documents.
  • Track, review, and interpret various laws, regulations, and policies affecting OCTO.
  • Assess the impact of new or modified requests/requirements from client programs.
  • Provide audit support for management responses to open recommendations/findings and audit remediation.
  • Support customer, client, and end-user activities and create and manage a line of business.
  • Perform governance tasks to support No Code/Low Code applications planning, modernization, and implementation.
  • Conduct technical assessments and technology reviews.
  • Conduct baseline assessments and engineering trade-off analysis.
  • Assess and manage technical risk.
  • Create and maintain artifacts related to planned projects and solutions.
  • Provide ITIL process management guidance and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • Must be available to work EDT/EST time zone.
  • 9+ years of experience in data governance, data analysis, and data management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience in practicing or facilitating stewardship in data governance and data management technical platforms.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management concepts.
  • High proficiency in industry-standard data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Technical backend experience working with data quality tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), and Certified Data Analyst Professional (CDAP) Certification(s) is a PLUS.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary range: $98,963 - $150,064.
