At OpenGov, we're on a mission to power more effective and accountable government. As a Lead Sr Product Designer, you'll play a critical role in driving this mission forward. With your expertise in user-centered design principles and experience leading design processes from concept to implementable solution, you'll craft elegant and practical solutions that bring our team closer to our goal.

As a member of our cross-functional design team, you'll collaborate with product management and engineering leaders to define use cases, scope, user journeys, and interactions for our product line. You'll leverage research data and product analytics to understand user needs, make informed decisions, and communicate solutions effectively.

One of your key responsibilities will be to steward our design system by using and creating reusable patterns across products. You'll help our team choose the right methods and tools for creative problem-solving and present your work to stakeholders across the company to receive feedback and showcase the value of design.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of how to apply user-centered design principles to software, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively will be essential in this role.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $135,000 - $175,000 per year, with a portion of variable compensation earned based on company and individual performance. Our benefits package includes 90% paid Medical/Dental/Vision premium for employees, fully paid Life and Short/Long term disability insurance, Unlimited PTO, Parental Leave policy, annual wellness stipend, anniversary awards, and more.
